Feminism: the policy, practice or advocacy of political, economic, and social equality for women.
The Feminist Majority views feminism as a global movement dedicated to equality and seeks to eliminate discrimination of all kinds -- sex, race, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, disability, and marital status. And, like feminists since the late 19th Century, we advocate non-violence and work to eliminate social and economic injustice.

Campaign for Mifepristone and Contraceptive Research

Campaign for Afghan Women and Girls
The Campaign for Afghan Women and Girls is a public education and grassroots effort that has brought the human rights catastrophe to national and international attention.

Choices Campus Leadership Program
Organized on more than 2,000 colleges and universities in all 50 states and 149 countries worldwide, the Campus Program was founded in 1997 to train the next generation of leaders. The Campus Program is conducted by a nationwide network of student-run campus groups called Feminist Majority Leadership Alliances and affiliates.

Emergency Contraception Over the Counter (ECOTC) Campaign
Following the FDA decision to allow nonprescription access to emergency contraception for people aged 18 and over, the FMF's Campus Program has launched an educational campaign to ensure young women on college campuses are informed about EC. Join the campaign today by educating your campus about EC. Learn about EC, download petitions and our fact sheet, and get involved!

Internship in Feminism and Public Policy
Feminist Majority Foundation interns benefit from a challenging atmosphere and substantive projects, and gain experience working on the most pressing women's issues of our time. Internships are also available with Ms. magazine (publishing internships in Washington, DC and editorial internships in Los Angeles, CA).

Ms. Magazine
Co-founded by Gloria Steinem in 1972, Ms. is a prize-winning, national and international forum for women and men exploring the events and ideas of the movement for equality worldwide. A source for other news media, movies, TV series, and university courses, Ms. has become a friend, a measure and marker of change, in the lives of millions of people. In December 2001, the Feminist Majority Foundation became the sole owner of Liberty Media for Women, LLC, the publisher of Ms. magazine.

National Center for Women and Policing
The National Center for Women and Policing works to increase the number of women in law enforcement and improve police response to domestic violence and promote community policing.

National Clinic Access Project
The oldest and largest clinic defense project in the nation, the National Clinic Access Project provides emergency clinic security, assistance, and community organizing support, researches and monitors anti-abortion extremists, and works with law enforcement to improve responsiveness to clinic violence.

Rock for Choice
Since 1991 Rock for Choice has organized concerts in dozens of cities across the United States and Canada. Each concert registers concert goers to vote while encouraging them to speak out, get involved and learn how to protect their reproductive rights.

Volunteer! Put Your Feminism to Work!
The Feminist Majority and Feminist Majority Foundation are looking for volunteers to help with various campaigns we are currently working on. Volunteers can attend fun action events and weekly volunteer nights, volunteer in our office on an individual basis, volunteer from home, and take action in their local community on national campaigns.
