ability to provide safe abortion access, the Feminist Majority
Foundation and NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund have
updated this booklet, first published in 1996.
Monitoring Clinic Violence
The Feminist Majority Foundation monitors and tracks anti-abortion
violence nationwide, serving as an early-warning system
to imperiled clinics and law enforcement.
Emergency Clinic Crisis Survival Assistance
We provide direct emergency financial, legal, security,
training and media assistance to the most severely targeted
clinics, and works to secure the intervention of local,
state, and federal law enforcement officials to stop clinic
violence.
Community Organizing
NCAP sends trained teams of community organizers to targeted
cities to assist local communities in mobilizing and training
pro-choice volunteers to keep clinics open. |

its kind in the U.S., leading efforts to keep women's health
clinics open in the face of a war of attrition waged by
abortion opponents.
