Abortion Access Project
A Boston-based group working to make abortion a more accessible option in Massachusetts. Advocating a more extensive training of health practitioners to provide abortions, this site has interesting information and some links.

Abortion Clinics Online
A comprehensive listing of abortion providers, broken down by country and state. About half of these listings have their own web pages, usually providing contact information, medical facts, and appointment information. There is also a section with links to other pro-choice sites on the Internet, a welcome message that includes a “You Are Not Alone” subsection and information on birth control.

The Abortion Rights Activist Home Page
This is an excellent site which provides a variety of abortion-related news, statistics, documents, and resources, including clinic escort information. It also provides links to other abortion resources on the Internet, feminist activist resources on the Internet, and on-line news services.

A comprehensive site with information on abortion-related topics presented from the pro-choice side.

Alan Guttmacher Institute
The Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI) is a public policy organization that works "to protect the reproductive choices of all women and men--in the United States and throughout the world," including the support of women's "
ability to obtain the information and services needed to achieve their full human rights, safeguard their health and exercise their individual responsibilities in regard to sexual behavior, reproduction and family formation." Download their research and publications and learn about the state of reproductive health throughout the world.

The American Political Network
This site contains Abortion Reportwhich reports on media coverage of abortion issues daily. Registration is required.

Befearless
This Oxygen website features interactive polls as well as news features, information, and connections to activism on a range of feminist and progressive issues, including reproductive rights, affirmative action, GLBT rights, and gun control. It also has specific information for women in the workplace, women in politics, and other areas of interst.

CARAL -- North
Headquartered in San Francisco, CARAL (California Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League) is a non-profit organization dedicated to electing pro-choice candidates to office. Its Web page provides information about the organization, a voter's guide that is specific to California, a list of abortion-related sites, a clinic violence page, and a listing of California politics resources. Most notably, the site contains a wealth of information and resources for those who want to become more involved. The site also includes a "fun, pro-choice movie."

Catholics for a Free Choice (U.S.)
This D.C.-based group works in partnership with reproductive health,interfaith and Catholic church reform groups that share its commitment to safe, legal reproductive health care and women's equality.

"Defending Reproductive Rights"
Order this 2001 publication from Political Research Associates-- a guide for activists and organizers on the status of reproductive rights and access in the U.S.

Feminist Women's Health Center of Washington
This down-to-earth, friendly site contains a great pro-choice store, personal stories, Spanish pages, stories on clinic violence and medical abortion, emergency contraceptive information, Washington state resources and contact information, general women's health information, and more. The site is dedicated to providing empowering and personally supportive information.

International Planned Parenthood Federation
This site features weekly news reports, IPPF's monthly Medical Bulletin, and contact information for regional IPPF affiliates around the world. Also find related links, highlights from the IPPF 1996-7 Annual Report, and IPPF's strategic plan in English, French and Spanish.

Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation
The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation is "an independent philanthropy focusing on the major health care issues facing the nation." Its main research areas include abortion and reproductive rights, women's health policy, sex education, and HIV/AIDS. Read the daily reports on reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, download research, and get recent public opinion statistics on the issues you care about.

Medical Students for Choice
MSFC is dedicated to ensuring that women receive comprehensive reproductive health care, including abortion. One of the greatest obstacles to safe, legal abortion is the absence of trained providers. Abortion and reproductive health care must be a part of standard medical training and practice. As medical students and residents, we are committed to ensuring that medical practitioners are prepared to provide their patients with the full range of reproductive health care choices.

National Abortion Federation
This site provides general information on abortion with fact sheets and information on current events and issues. It also contains press releases, resources for women contemplating abortion, information about NAF's toll-free national hotline, a list member clinics, personal stories of patients and providers, and legal and medical resources for providers.

NARAL-National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League
A well-designed and thorough resource for choice advocacy. It contains information that is hard to find on the web, such as information on D & X abortion, personal stories, a map on legislation, etc. This extensive site is essential for pro-choice news, information, and research on the Internet.
New York State NARAL Affiliate

National Coalition of Abortion Providers
This nonprofit organization represents the political interests of independent abortion providers in this country. While the site is small, it provides important information on its organizations’ goals and some good links.

National Network of Abortion Funds
This group works to provide funds for women who could not otherwise afford an abortion. Find information on the economic discriminations our current legislation fosters and information on the organization's mission. Also find a list of pro-choice links and information for young feminists at the site for Hampshire College's Civil Liberties and Public Policy Program.

National Organization for Women (NOW)
This abortion page, part of the NOW site, contains information on NOW's activities in the pro-choice movement.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc.
Planned Parenthood’s site provides information on all aspects of sexual and reproductive health, including contraception/birth control, family planning services, pregnancy, STD’s, sexuality education, abortion, pro-choice advocacy, reproductive rights, and also other links to related resources. The site also includes a take action message of the week.

Pro-Choice Education Project
This coalition of pro-choice organizations runs a campaign to educate young women on the importance of reproductive access.

ProChoice Resource Center
The organization provides training, technical assistance, and information to pro-choice grassroots groups.

Voters for Choice
This page provides general information about Voters for Choice, a national independent and bipartisan pro-choice organization whose sole purpose is to elect pro-choice candidates.

Westchester Coalition for Legal Abortion
Dedicated to pro-choice activism, WCLA is a PAC based in Westchester, NY to lobby on a state and federal level. Site contains a newsletter and articles with information about issues concerning abortion as well as links.

Women of the World
This valuable site contains a heavily hyperlinked document from the Center for Reproductive Law & Policy that reviews the status of "women's reproductive freedom" in the United States, China, India, Germany, Brazil, and Nigeria. It is a bit difficult to maneuver around the site, as the "menu" items are small sections of a small graphic. However, the information is well-footnoted, presented in a statistical/factual format.

The National Abortion Rights Action League's site serves as a launch pad to other related Internet resources.

NAF Clinic Violence
The National Abortion Federationıs site provides information on clinic violence, as well as links to special reports, statistics on anti- abortion violence, anti-choice violence in the news, the impact of anti- abortion law, the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrance (F.A.C.E.) law, and other Internet resources.

NBC- Clinic Attacks
NBC news broadcasting station's site includes information on clinic violence, state-by-state with a clickable map of the United States.

Planned Parenthood: Stop Clinic Violence
Planned Parenthood's site on clinic violence includes suggestions on how to stop clinic violence.

CARAL - Violence at Abortion Clinics
The California Abortion Rights Action League site contains a fact sheet on clinic violence, and information on what one can do to help. It also provides links to other organizations who provide information on clinic violence and provides a factsheet on clinic violence nationwide.

Women's Health Action and Mobilization
The Women's Health Action and Mobilization (W.H.A.M.) organization site provides information on their organization, as well as links to other activist groups, magazines, videos and womenıs issues sites.

Danco Laboratories
Danco Laboratories markets Mifeprex (the trafde name for mifepristone) in the United States. Their site contains information on mifepristone and its uses, as well as instructions on how to get Mifeprex.

Early Options
This site is administered by the National Abortion Federation (NAF) in an effort to "educate and instruct health care professionals...in the safe and effective administration of mifepristone/misoprostol for early medical abortion." The site also contains information for women considering medical abortion.

NARAL
The National Abortion Rights Action League's site provides information on the history of mifepristone and its impact on abortion politics and research. Also included is a time line that follows the fight to bring mifepristone to the U.S.,1980-1996.
